As required by Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 and other state and federal nondiscrimination laws, Edina Public Schools does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs, activities, or employment. The school district is committed to maintaining an education and work environment that is free from discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment.
Edina Public Schools does not tolerate sexual harassment and will take prompt and reasonable action in response to instances of sexual harassment. Any employee, student, parent, or guardian having questions regarding the application of Title IX or the District’s Title IX Sexual Harassment Grievance Process should discuss them with the Title IX Coordinator.
Questions relating solely to Title IX and its regulations may also be referred to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights of the United States Department of Education.
