Dear EPS Families and Staff,

Check off another day of planning and preparation districtwide! Just a couple of updates and answers to questions we’ve received:


Schools and the district Business Office are working on the refund of fees paid for field trips that have been cancelled. Decisions regarding athletics and other activities will depend on the Governor’s instructions for schools post March 30. Stay tuned.


We have received inquiries from many parents and community members asking how you can help. A team of Give and Go, Education Fund, Meal Fund and District representatives are creating a plan to identify needs and organize response. As soon as that plan is ready to go we will communicate contact information. The generosity of this community is overwhelming and we can’t wait to harness this energy!


Did you know there are also social distancing guidelines for socializing when outdoors? Here is information from the National Recreation and Park Association based on concerns around the spread of COVID-19. Please review as you and your children spend more time outdoors this spring.


A note for families who are picking up free meals at the Middle Schools -- you do not need to come every day for the lunch and breakfast meals. You may pick up multiple days worth of meals -- just let the staff know how many you need when you pull up. Meals are available Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. More information.
