Edina Hires Andrea Kellar as new Edina High School Head Girls’ Golf Coach.

Edina High School announces the hiring of Andrea Kellar as our new Head Girls’ Golf Coach. Kellar will begin working with the team this spring.

“I am so excited and honored to have the opportunity to coach the Edina Girls’ golf team.  I look forward to helping continue the past successes and to make the Edina Girls Golf team a place where the girls' can have a positive high school athletic experience and grow personally as golfers and young ladies.  I want to thank Troy for giving me that opportunity and I look forward to working with him and the entire Edina team.   Go Hornets!”

Kellar is a PGA Professional and Membership Director at Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie.  She has spent most of her life in the game of golf.  From her college playing days at the University of Miami, to coaching youth in Edina, Andrea has an understanding of the individual and team commitment it takes to compete at a very high level.

“We are excited to have Andrea Kellar join our team,” said EHS Assistant Principal and Director of Athletics Troy Stein.  “She has a vision to build the program with a focus on building the student-athlete to embrace and enjoy the game.  Her passion for coaching and teaching is remarkable.”
