TRUNK/HATCH EXCHANGE
All students and family members must stay in their vehicles. Pack all items to be returned in the rear hatch or trunk of your car and then pop it open for staff to retrieve them and place items in.

DISPLAY STUDENT NAME IN DRIVER SIDE WINDOW
The student(s) name should be visible in large letters in a driver side window of the vehicle for easy identification. You do not need to open the car window. If your ordered a personalized yearbook, please indicate that on the sign as well.

All staff and volunteers working at this event will be screened for COVID19 symptoms and be wearing personal protective equipment, gloves and masks. All students and family members in the vehicle must be free of COVID19 symptoms. We can create alternate plans to drop off and pick up items on an individual basis if necessary.

The first step for all students is to enter the South lot of the high school from the East and follow the path marked by cones and signage. There will be several drop off zones.

Drop off items include:
  • All textbooks and novels that have been checked out from the school. (All students)
  • All technology checked out from the school such as Chromebooks, chargers, hot spots, and calculators. (Only Seniors and students not returning to EHS. All other students please keep devices.)
  • District-provided technology must have all personalization (ie: stickers) removed and be accompanied by compatible accessories such as a charger.
  • Students who return devices in non-working order will be assigned a fee.
  • Musical instruments that belong to the school. (All Students)
  • Art supplies that belong to the school. (All Students)
  • Elevator keys checked out from the nurse’s office. Students will also pick-up any medications that are still being stored at school. They will be bagged and labeled at this drop-off table. (All Students)

After all items have been dropped off and scanned in by a staff member, your vehicle will be marked, indicating that you are clear to leave the drop-off area and proceed to the pick-up area.

The pick-up area will be in the North lot of the high school and will be divided into 6 lanes by alphabet. Students will drive through their lane to receive their cap and gown (Seniors) , yearbooks (if purchased), remaining locker contents (seniors and non-returning students only), etc. Students can purchase a yearbook at this drop-off/pick-up event by bringing a check made out to EHS Whigrean for $100. If you purchased a personalized yearbook, please indicate that on the same paper with the students name in the drivers side window. Students will have the option to proceed to an area set up by the Senior party (more details to come from the Senior party) or follow signs to the exit. Students will return to the South lot and exit onto Valley View Road going right (West) to help with traffic flow. Again, there will be ample signage to help guide drivers.

  • Do not have any physical contact with visiting students and family members

We expect students and families to abide by the following protocols:
