New! Meal Account Payments Move to Parent Portal

In an effort to continue to make life easier for busy families, Edina Public Schools has shifted to Campus Food Service and Online Payments beginning this school year. By providing these new tools parents will be able to access information right from the Infinite Campus icon in the portal! This means with the same username and password you use to access the portal, you can now conveniently log on to view individual or family meal account balances, receive low balance email notifications, and view daily meal purchases in real time.

Visit the parent portal and select the Infinite Campus icon to begin viewing your child’s account.

In addition, you have the convenience of using Campus Online Payments. This is a reliable and secure payment processing system that allows you to submit food service and school-related fees 24/7 via the portal. Payments can be made for one child or the entire household.

Campus Food Service works with the Campus Mobile Portal app and is accessible at your fingertips. With the app, you can view meal account balances for one or multiple children. The app can be downloaded for free from iTunes, Google Play or Amazon, depending on your device.

Also, remember to complete the Meal Benefit application if your family currently participates in a supplemental nutrition program (i.e. SNAP, MFIP), fosters children, or meets income guidelines. A new form must be completed each school year. Information and forms will be available at building Open House and Get Connected days, in the Family Handbook or from the Campus portal page.

The district uses an individual meal accounting point of sale system. Each student has his or her own individual account. Accounts are debit accounts, and therefore must be funded in order for the student to use it. Ways to submit a deposit:

Managing your students' meal accounts is easier this year following a transfer of the payment function and account balances to Infinite Campus from PAMS. The meal account is an option listed under "Payments" on the left side menu of Campus. Login to the portal at portal.edinaschools.org and click on Infinite Campus.

 

 

By check

For a single account, give to cashier in cafeteria, drop off at school office, or mail to district food service office. Checks to be split among several accounts must have allocation amount identified by student name and school. Make checks payable to ISD #273 Nutrition Program; mail to Food & Nutrition Services, Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road, Edina, MN 55439.

If a student's meal account holds a negative balance, they will be offered a regular combo meal. Additional entrees, "doubles," snacks, and a la carte items are not allowed until the account becomes positive. Parent may sign up to receive low balance notification via email in Infinite Campus.
