Middle School Programs (6-8)
Get inspired. Grow. Connect with friends. Belong.
For young people to thrive and fully realize their potential, they need learning opportunities and relationships beyond home and the school day. Edina Community Ed's programming for students in grades 6-8 creates spaces, times and activities that encourage students to develop skills, connect with peers, and grow independence. Regular field trips provide a bridge from classroom learning to a growing sense of community.

We’ve redesigned summer for our older students! To help even more students make the most of these weeks for individual learning and growth, we’ve amped up our offerings so students in grades 6-12 can explore their interests and college, career and life paths.
Our 6th-12th grade summer hub is Edina High School. Most summer camps run M-TH, either 9am-12noon or 1pm-4pm.
We understand busy family schedules. Need extra time?
Our flexible schedule allows families to arrange a full day of activities for students: M-TH, 8am-5pm.
- Students registered for AM camps can arrive between 8am-9am for no extra charge
- Students registered for PM camps can stay as late as 5pm for no extra charge
- Students registered for both AM and PM camps can also stay for lunch for no extra charge.
Fridays are for fun! We have field trips, day-long camps and special opportunities planned for every Friday of summer. Friday hours are also 8am-5pm.

Summer registration opens Tuesday, February 18th. Click here to go to our registration site.
