Amir Gharbi


Amir Gharbi joined the Edina School Board in 2016. He is a high school physics teacher, military veteran and the son of a Moroccan immigrant. He holds a master’s in public policy from Harvard University, a license to teach from Hamline University, and a bachelor’s of science from West Point. Gharbi’s belief in the power of an excellent public education motivated him to serve on the board. He and his wife, Carolin, are the parents of three children. Gharbi says education is “our most precious public resource.”
