School Board Candidate Flipgrid Video Forum

Flipgrid is used in many EPS classrooms as a tool to engage students in learning and as a creative way to show what they know. The Edina Parent Leadership Council, with assistance from the district's Department of Media and Technology Services, is using Flipgrid to provide an additional opportunity for you to get to know the 2021 School Board Candidates.

All School Board candidates were invited to participate in the Flipgrid Video Forum. They had one week to respond to the same three questions, with 90 seconds allotted for each answer. Candidates who responded to the invitation to participate are posted below after each question. Use the arrows within each video to advance to the next video, or return to a previous video.

• Question 1:  Why are you running for school board?
• Question 2:  What are your top 3 priorities for our district? How and why did you select these issues?
• Question 3:  What experience and abilities do you bring to the board, and specifically what differentiates you as a candidate?
