Kindergarten Information Nights

A First Look at Kindergarten

Kindergarten Information Nights are your first look into the kindergarten experience at Edina Public Schools. Families are invited to visit our elementary schools, learn about our approach to kindergarten, and connect with school staff and administration. Registration is not required to attend.

Getting Ready

What to Expect

Kindergarten Information Nights are your chance to see what makes each school unique. While sessions vary by school and program type, you can usually expect:

  • A presentation about the kindergarten experience and curriculum
  • A tour of the school and classrooms
  • Time to meet the principal and kindergarten team
  • A Q&A session to answer your questions

These sessions are designed for parents, so we recommend leaving children at home to make the most of your visit.

Where Learning Begins

Our Elementary Schools

Edina Public Schools is home to six elementary schools, including five neighborhood schools and three choice programs. While each school has its own personality, all offer high-quality curricula and innovative teaching methods to nurture students and provide ongoing support throughout their education.
