Ms. Mary Rossini
Ever since filling the elective, "Classical Greek Art and Archeology" freshmen year at college, I was hooked on the classics. Over the past 30 years, I have been teaching both Latin and English--and more recently, Reading. Latin is my passion: translating passages, word derivations, ancient daily life, Greek and Roman mythology, and finding this ancient language and culture alive in our world today! This love of words beautifully complements my other great love--the English language. Books, reading, writing, and speaking are key components in 9th Grade English, In August, 2015, I received my Minnesota Reading Specialist License, so I have been given the wonderful opportunity to teach 6th grade reading. Outside of school, I am busy with four kids, an interest in historical preservation, a love of local history, reading, and a daily walk.
