Edina Early Learning Center
Learning begins at birth. Well before students enter Kindergarten, they are developing critical social and emotional skills and learning to build relationships with parents, peers and teachers. They explore interests that will stay with them throughout life.
Edina's Early Learning Center offers two broad programs designed for the holistic development of a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs in order to build a solid foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing: Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Preschool. Join us to ignite your child's love of learning and ensure a well-rounded, healthy start for your child's educational journey!
Early Childhood Family Education
We recognize that parents are their child's first and most important teachers. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program unique to Minnesota, and only offered through Community Education programs like ours. ECFE offers parents and caregivers the opportunity to go to school and learn along with their child. Learn more about ECFE.

Safety and Wellbeing
Our top priority is the safety and the well being of our students and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Edina Public Schools has outlined the Safe Learning Spaces plan on the 2020-21 Family Dashboard. We have had to make some difficult decisions regarding the Early Learning Center programming we feel we can safely offer as we begin the school year. Our programming decisions follow Edina Public Schools protocols, and also meet guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), MN Department of Health (MDH), and MN Department of Education (MDE).
