Get Connected/Picture Day on August 25, 2020
If you missed GCD/Picture day you may come to the office between 8 and 4 to pick up an ID. Picture make up days are 9/15 and 9/18.
Students: Wear Your Lanyard!
All students must wear their student ID on their lanyard each day they are in school. The ID will be necessary for book and device checkout, payment for breakfast and lunch, as well as building connections with students and staff, since we will all be wearing masks!
New Family Meeting
A meeting for families new to Edina will take place virtually at 5 PM on Aug. 25.
Tours
We will not be offering family tours in person however incoming 6th graders will tour the building during orientation on the 27th (see below) and Student Ambassadors will offer tours for new students only (not families) on August 28th after the online new student sessions with the Student Ambassadors. More information will be coming from the Ambassadors to the new students.
WEB Orientation for Incoming 6th Graders (Thursday, August 27)
WHAT IS WEB (Where Everybody Belongs)?
WEB is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 6th graders by connecting them with WEB Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 8th graders. Your student’s WEB Leaders will help them feel more comfortable as well as help them achieve success in their first year of middle school. Doesn’t that sound great? It is!
