2022 Summer Learning
Edina Public Schools provides a wide variety of learning opportunities all summer long. Summer offerings are designed to meet needs, pique curiosity and engage creativity for students in PreK through Grade 12. There are three different learning opportunities for Summer 2022:
Programs by Referral: Parents will receive information from teachers if their student is eligible to attend one of the Programs by Referral. These opportunities are designed to help prepare students for success in their transition to the next grade.
Choice Programs: Choice programs are available for all ages, throughout the summer through Edina Community Education. Check the Summer Catalog for details.
Independent Learning at Home: Independent Learning at Home provides links to sites and programs to help keep your learner’s skills sharp over the summer. These links are curated by teachers and learning specialists that offer opportunities in Math and Reading for grade levels 2-12.
Tutoring for Developing Readers and/or Students with Markers of Dyslexia: This new summer offering is a partnership with Edina Community Ed and EPS Teaching and Learning, in collaboration with the Edina Parents Dyslexia Alliance, to provide specialized reading tutoring for students in grade K-2.
