Our middle level program will have a regular daily schedule that students will be supported in following. This will include a combination of “live” teaching sessions (synchronous) and independent work and study (asynchronous). One of the advantages of the Virtual Pathway is that the time required to be “live” will be determined by the content. Each student will have access to their teacher - much like an in-person student - but how that time is used will look different.
Our high school program is designed to be more independent with fewer whole class sessions to provide flexibility for the learner. Course content and teacher approach will determine the exact schedule, but as a general statement - there will be less daily connection with all teachers and instead targeted sessions based on need and content structure of the course.
