2021 School Board Election


Results from the Nov. 2, 2021 School Board Election will be posted on the Minnesota Secretary of State's Election Results web page.

Edina School Board members are elected to four-year overlapping terms, with elections held every two years. This fall, voters in the Edina school district will elect four members to the School Board this fall as the terms of Erica Allenburg, Matt Fox, Ellen Jones, and Owen Michaelson expire.

How To Vote

To vote in this election, you must be a resident living within the school district boundaries. Some Edina residences are not within district boundaries, and some addresses in neighboring communities are. Check the Minnesota Secretary of State Polling Place Finder if you have questions.

Register to Vote

You must be a registered voter to be eligible to vote in this election. You may register to vote at your polling place on election day. For more information about registering to vote, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State Register to Vote website.

Absentee/Early Voting

Absentee and early voting begins Sept. 17. All absentee and early voting will occur at Edina City Hall. Find more information about how to obtain an absentee ballot and/or vote early on the City of Edina website.

Where to Vote on Election Day

Tuesday, Nov. 2 is Election Day. District residents will vote at their assigned polling location. See list of polling locations. If you are unsure of your precinct, visit Polling Place Finder.

Oct. 26-29 - Direct Balloting (Voters put their ballots directly into ballot counter), Edina City Hall 8am-4:30pm
