Upcoming Community Sessions on Edina Schools' 2024-2025 Budget

The Edina Public Schools district is currently in the process of developing the budget for the 2024-25 school year. Community sessions are scheduled in the coming weeks to answer questions and gather input from our Edina Public Schools stakeholders including staff and families. District administrators will then work with the School Board to develop recommendations informed by community input that balance our budget heading into the next fiscal year. 

Please join a community session where we will discuss the fiscal year 2025 budget reduction, reallocation, and revenue generation (BRRRG) process. Superintendent Dr. Stanley and Director of Finance and Operations Mert Woodard will present an overview of the district’s financial forecast, budget priorities and garner your input at the following sessions: 

  • Thursday, January 25, 2024:  6-7 p.m. Countryside Elementary School cafeteria (Highlands and Countryside communities)

  • Monday, January 29, 2024:  6-7 p.m. South View Middle School auditorium (South View Middle, Concord, Early Learning Center and Normandale communities)

  • Wednesday, January 31, 2024: 6-7 p.m. Edina High School EPAC (Edina Performing Arts Center), enter door 3 (Valley View Middle and Edina High School communities)

  • Thursday, February 1, 2024: 6-7 p.m. Cornelia Elementary School cafeteria (Cornelia and Creek Valley communities)

  • Tuesday, February 6: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Virtual Session - Please sign up here to receive a meeting link or RSVP by emailing communications@edinaschools.org

*You are welcome to attend a session in a different community if you are not able to attend the session in your community. The virtual session will also be recorded and made available online after the event.
