Three New Members Elected to the Edina School Board

Edina voters have ushered in three new faces on the Edina School Board. The election, held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, saw three new representatives secure their positions on the board with no incumbents seeking re-election.

Cheryl Barry, Jennifer Huwe, and Elliot Mann were elected to serve a four-year term. The terms of outgoing members Julie Greene, Janie Shaw, and Regina Neville, are set to expire in December 2023.

The three newly elected members will officially assume their roles on the first Monday in January 2024.

The Edina School Board consists of seven citizens elected at large by voters within the school district. Members serve four-year overlapping terms, with elections held biennially. At the conclusion of a four-year term, members have the option to seek re-election for successive terms.
