Edina Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Stacie Stanley has been named president-elect of the Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) board of directors.

“I am honored to be nominated and elected to serve as president-elect alongside my esteemed colleagues,” Stanley said. "I firmly believe in the strength of collective advocacy and remain committed to advancing equitable funding for Minnesota schools as MASA’s president-elect. Throughout my career, I have worked diligently to ensure doors are opened for each and every student, and will bring that same focus, dedication, and passion to this organization as its president.”

Stanley has served on the organization’s executive development committee for several years and is the current chair. She offers master classes and facilitates the MASA Women in Leadership series. In 2020, she received the MASA Central Office Leader of Year – Metro Area award.

MASA is a private, nonprofit member service organization representing Minnesota’s superintendents and educational administrative groups. The organization supports excellence in professional practice, enhances the leadership networks of its members, and provides members with a variety of valuable benefits.
