Sophomore to present research paper at U of M Youth Institute

Rayika Sheikhosman, an EHS sophomore, will present her research paper as a participant in the Minnesota Youth Institute at the University of Minnesota on May 16. The theme for the event, sponsored by the College of Food, Agriculture and National Resource Sciences, is global hunger issues. Rayika will present her paper on hunger and potential solutions in Malawi.

In addition to presenting, students accepted for the Institute will learn more about world hunger and collaborate with their peers from around the state. Rayika will receive a $1,000 scholarship for presenting, and is eligible for additional scholarships and global internships.
