5 students, 1 coach receive Connecting with Kids Awards
The Edina Community Foundation has recognized five EHS students and one coach at their annual Connecting with Kids Awards breakfast.
Emma Flaherty, Charlie Greene, Abid Hasan, Nick Presthus, and Elsa Utoft were honored for their volunteerism in organizing TEDxYouthEdina. The event had student speakers share their ideas, stories, and experiences.
Thom Propson, varsity assistant football coach, was honored for his outsized impact in youth athletics.
The Foundation recognizes adults and students who have dedicated their time to serve, strengthen and celebrate the community with a focus on the lives of our youth.
