18 EHS students advance to State History Day Qualifiers
58 students across 35 projects presented at the Metro Senior History Day Competition at Augsburg University on March 13. The judges selected 18 EHS students to proceed to the State History Day Qualifiers at the University of Minnesota in April.
In early February, students presented their History Day projects at EHS to school leaders and community members, and Edina sent 35 of those projects to the competition at Augsburg.
History Day is an academic program focused on historical research, interpretation and creative expression. Students work individually or in a group to create an essay, exhibit, performance, documentary, or website to share their learning around an annual theme.
