Legislative Action Committee

Advocating for Our Students and Community

The Legislative Action Committee (LAC) brings together community members who care deeply about strong public schools and effective advocacy for students. Established by the Edina School Board in Fall 2018, the LAC is a non-partisan group focused on monitoring and engaging in issues that impact education across Minnesota and within Edina Public Schools.

By staying informed on state and local policy, collaborating with local leadership, and helping elevate the voices of our community, the committee works to ensure that decisions made in and beyond the classroom continue to support the success and well-being of each and every student.
