Campaign Finance Reports

Public Reporting for School Board Elections and Ballots

Minnesota law requires certain campaign finance reports related to school board elections and ballot questions to be publicly available. School board candidates and committees must file reports with the district if their campaign contributions or expenditures exceed $750 in a calendar year. An initial report is due within 14 days of reaching that threshold, followed by additional reports throughout the campaign period until a final report is filed.

These reports provide transparency by documenting campaign contributions and spending. State law requires districts to post filed reports online for at least four years. Filed reports are available below.
