School Board

Providing Governance and Direction for Our Schools

The Edina School Board consists of seven citizens elected at large by voters in the district. The superintendent serves as an automatic, non-voting member of the board, facilitating its work and providing leadership to the district while carrying out the board’s policies and directives.

School board members are elected to four-year, overlapping terms, with elections held every two years. After their term ends, members may run for re-election.

Meet Our School Board

School board members are assigned to serve on board and district committees, act as liaisons to Edina Public Schools sites and programs, and represent the district on local and state educational organizations, committees, and task forces. Learn more about each member’s roles and assignments below.
