Edina Excellence Reflected in 2026 ‘Best Schools’ Rankings

U.S. News & World Report released its 2026 Best High Schools and Best Middle Schools rankings last month and there’s a lot to celebrate across Edina Public Schools!

Kudos to Edina High School for its well-earned ranking as Minnesota’s best traditional public high school and the number two overall high school in the state. Nationally, EHS slots in at #123 this year — cementing its status as one of the best high schools in the United States.

This year’s rankings also recognize excellence across our middle schools, with both Valley View Middle School (#13) and South View Middle School (#17) earning top-20 statewide accolades on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Middle Schools list.

While rankings offer one perspective on a school community, this recognition is a testament to the rigorous academic foundation and unwavering support scholars experience throughout their education journey in Edina Public Schools. We couldn’t be prouder to be Hornets!
