Meal Accounts and Payments
Monitor and Add Funds to Your Child’s Meal Account
While breakfast and lunch are provided at no cost to students through Minnesota's Free School Meals Program, some cafeteria purchases are not included. Students may choose to purchase additional items, such as snacks, beverages, or second meals, which are charged to their meal account. Families can monitor account activity, view balances, and add funds through the Parent Portal.
Parents are encouraged to sign up for low-balance email notifications in the parent portal and can choose the account balance threshold that triggers an alert. Students will not be denied food if their meal account has a negative balance.
