How Decisions Are Made

Weather-related decisions are made with careful consideration by the Edina Public Schools superintendent or their designee, and with focus on safety across the entire district. Factors include:

  • Road conditions
  • Current and forecasted weather
  • Input from transportation staff, local agencies, and neighboring districts
  • The ability to safely operate buses and school buildings

Decisions are made as early as possible to give families time to plan.
