How We Support Students

English Language Development
We serve students whose first language is not English by providing opportunities to build English language skills, engage in academic learning, and navigate the school experience.

Cultural Liaisons
Our cultural liaisons serve as partners for families, bridging communication between home and school. They provide language support, cultural guidance, and connections to resources.

American Indian Education
We support American Indian students and families through culturally grounded programming, academic resources, and opportunities that honor identity, heritage, and community.
Meetings and Events
Join us throughout the school year for meetings and events designed to support and connect multilingual families and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Staff Training
Building Equity in Our Schools
Edina Public Schools provides ongoing professional learning to district staff to strengthen equity and improve student outcomes. Through quarterly modules, staff develop culturally informed practices that guide their teaching, communication, and partnership with students and families. This work helps bring to life our vision for each and every student to discover their possibilities and thrive.
