Welcome to Concord KIDS Club!
Our goal at Concord KIDS Club is to provide a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment where your child can spend time learning, laughing, relaxing, and playing. We want each child to feel like KIDS Club is their "home away from home!" We offer clubs, homework support, non-school day trips, and fun-loving and caring staff. We believe that clubs serves two purposes: (1) To form smaller groups of KIDS Club youth who can develop friendships in an atmosphere which is more intimate than the overall program. (2) To give KIDS Club youth the opportunity to develop hobbies and interests lasting through elementary school, middle school, high school and into adulthood. Some of the clubs that we offer includes: cooking, Random acts of kindness, crazy crafters, gym rats, building masters, mad science; just to name a few.We also talk about the importance and the value of service learning. In past years, we have done things like: food drives for the V.E.A.P. food shelf, we collected money for Abbey’s hope, making sandwiches and fleece blankets for a group called 363 which distributes sandwiches to the homeless in Minneapolis, walked for Soles 4 Souls, collected books for the children’s hospital and clinics of Minnesota, and much more! What we hope to accomplish this year, is to continue to incorporate in the program, the six competencies that profile the Next generation EPS learner. Hopefully by the time your child is done with us, he/she would be able to take what they have learned and continue to grow to represent Edina Public Schools in a positive way!
