Semester 2 Learning Models and Updates

As state guidance and COVID conditions change, students who are registered for hybrid learning have been transitioning from distance learning back to learning models that include more in-classroom learning:

    January 25
    K-2 students shift to 4-day, In-person Learning

    February 8
Gr. 3-5 students shift to 4-day, In-person Learning

    Week of Feb. 16
Secondary alpha cohorts shift to Hybrid Learning
    Gr. K-5 shift to 5-day, In-person Learning
K-5 EVA students shift to 5-day week in alignment with In-person model
(*Gr. 6-12 EVA students continue with current schedule)

    Implementation Dependent on COVID Conditions

Implementation plans for a return to levels of in-classroom learning are dependent on current COVID conditions and state guidance. COVID rates and staffing stability are key factors in our ability to implement, and remain in, Hybrid and In-person learning models.

    COVID/Illness Reporting Form

The Minnesota Department of Health asks that schools continue to track COVID related cases among their student population. Please fill out this form to report all illness symptoms (even if you don’t think they are COVID related), a positive COVID case or a quarantine due to close contact. An EPS staff member will follow up with you. Monitoring the number of cases within the district is an important factor in determining when it will be safe to return to in-person learning.
