• Nutrition Services

For the safety of students and staff, there will be some changes to Nutrition Services operations this year.

UPDATE: All students may have FREE lunch and breakfast through Dececember

The USDA has extended the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through Dec. 31, 2020. This means ALL students under age 18 may receive a free breakfast and free lunch per day, if they choose, through EPS Food and Nutrition Services. Student eligibility status is not required for the SFSP program so lunch accounts will NOT be charged; ALL meals are FREE. Find more information and the Meal Delivery Request form on the Food and Nutrition Services web page.

For the time being, school lunch at all grade levels will be a balanced meal of cold food, presented to students in a paper lunch bag. Meals will include a cold entree, fruit, vegetables and choice of milk. There will not be choices for entrees on a daily basis, however the menu will vary and will be posted on the usual lunch menu pages for your school. Over time, we hope to begin offering some hot entrees that can be served in a bagged lunch.

    Apply for Meal Benefits Online

Families will now have the option to fill out the meal benefit application online. You will need to log into the Edina Portal and then Campus. Under "More" on the side menu, the online application will be found under "Meal Benefits." These step-by-step instructions will help families walk through filling out the online application.
