    Testing & Assessments

MCA testing has been halted by the State, and any further MCA testing has been cancelled for the remainder of the school year.

“ACT has made the difficult decision to postpone the remaining ACT District testing dates for Spring 2020, including April 7 and April 21, in response to concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes all standard time and accommodated testing windows, both paper and online. At this time, ACT is exploring the possibility of opening a new District testing window in early June. This testing experience would be separate from the National June 13 test day, which is still scheduled.”

  • District Playgrounds Reopen

With the lifting of the Governor’s stay-at-home order, the District has reopened playgrounds to the public. The new safer-at home order allows gatherings of no more than 10 people while continuing to follow social distancing guidelines. Note that playsets are not sanitized. Kuhlman Field is open Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

NOTE: Playgrounds at Concord and Highlands Elementary Schools are closed to the public Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. while childcare programming is in session.

The following health safety guidelines apply to users of district playgrounds and fields:

    • Anyone using district playgrounds and playsets should be free of COVID-19 symptoms.
    • Wash hands before and after using playgrounds. Bring hand sanitizer.
    • Wearing face masks is recommended.
    • Do not gather in groups of more than 10 people.
    • Practice social distancing of six feet apart.
