    Stuck at home? Looking for a way to keep your children engaged? Community Ed has been working hard to create a variety of online enrichment classes. Check back on this page frequently for updated classes and resources.

    Cursive 101
    Cursive is quickly becoming a lost art. Now is the perfect time to begin learning cursive writing! Students will learn the basics of reading, writing and forming the cursive letter. The instructor will lead young scholars through introductions, drills and practice of the cursive alphabet.
    Grades 2-6

    Cursive 102
    Take your cursive writing to the next level! This course is designed for students who have already completed the beginning cursive class and are now ready to learn more. Expand your knowledge on the basics of reading, writing and forming the cursive letter.

    Fitness Fun
    Join Community Ed staff online for 30 minutes of fitness each day! Kids will get their hearts pumping and burn off some energy during a fun warm up, workout and cool down.

    Fun Art Time
    Join this fun art class along with your kids, and get ready to have a wonderful time drawing and adding color to your creations. In each class, we'll complete a new and exciting project. This is a wonderful opportunity to share a fun time with your family while exercising your creativity!

    Gotta Dance!
    Just because we're indoors doesn't mean we can't get down! Turn your living room into a dance floor and join the group dance party. Accessible for all ages, local theater professional Wesley Mouri will guide students in upbeat and easy to follow routines to get up, get active and get dancing!

    Lunch Break Fitness and Meditation Boot Camp
    This virtual boot camp has a little of everything for an active, healthy lifestyle! Have fun with various types of fitness and yoga challenges inspired by the original Fitness Boomers obstacle courses and other fun fitness activities and games. Learn balance, coordination and flexibility in a virtual group setting.

    Bullet Journaling
    As a great creative outlet, students will be able to hang out with their peers online, practice mindfulness and productivity and learn the art of bullet journaling.

    Lunchtime Dungeons & Dragons
    Spend lunchtime with your friends while you enter an alternative reality together. You will all encounter mythical creatures and exercise magical power. Adventure awaits...join today!

    Middle School Lunchtime Yoga
    This class is perfect for anyone wanting to develop more focus, flexibility and have some fun! All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to come. The classes will build off one another to create an ultimate flow by the end of the class.

    Virtual Strength Training Class
    Get up and get active! Grab your friends (virtually, of course) and join Mollie Martin for a week of 40-minute, online fitness classes using Zoom. Mollie will guide you through a live daily workout, watch and correct your form, encourage you to keep going, and help you jumpstart your spring fitness! Families are welcome to join in too at no additional cost.

    The British Museum is located in London, England, and is dedicated to human history, art and culture.
    The J. Paul Getty Museum is located in Los Angeles, California, and features works of art from the eighth century through the twenty-first century.
    The Lourve is located in Paris, France, and offers virtual tours of their Egyptian Antiquties, Remains of the Louvre's Moat, and Galerie d'Apollon.
    The Musee d'Orsay is located in Paris, France, and houses mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914. It includes paintings, scultupres, furniture and photography.
    The National Gallery of Art is located in Washington D.C. and is an art museum for the American people. The museum boasts a variety of styles, including realism, renaissance and mordern art.
    The National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. is the largest natural history museum in the world. It contains over 145 million specimens of plants, animals, fossils, cultural artifacts and more.
    The National Women's History Museum is an online-based museum exploring the important role women played in shaping history. From inventions to athletics, and politics to war, gain a deeper insight into how women changed our country.
    The White House is located in Washington D.C .and is not only the home for the President of the United States, but also serves as a museum. The furniture, artwork and sculptures tell a story of freedom, tragedy and resilience.
