• About Us

  • Cancellations and Refunds

We hate to do it, but sometimes Edina Community Education has to cancel a class.

It doesn't happen often, but here is what you need to know.

    • Weather-related cancellations. Most Community Ed classes are held in school buildings. If the school district closes due to bad weather, this affects all school related events, including Community Ed classes.
    • Cancellations due to low enrollment. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment expectations are cancelled two to three business days before class is scheduled to begin. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment, we will help you find another option or your tuition will be refunded in full. Please help us avoid cancellations: register early!

Sometimes you need to cancel a class.

We understand. Schedules and priorities change. Here is what you need to know. Note that policies vary depending on the program. For all programs, please remember that if you request a cancellation or change by phone or email on the weekend (Saturday-Sunday) or on legal holidays, we receive those requests on the next business day. You will not be eligible for refunds or credit vouchers for classes that begin on the day we receive your request.
