  • The purpose of the Next Generation School Start/End Times Advisory Task Force is to analyze pertinent information and consider options for school start/end times, in particular at the elementary and middle school levels.

    The School Start/End Time Advisory Task Force, comprised of students, parents, staff and administration, will meet four times in the fall of 2016. The public is invited to attend and observe all task force meetings, with engagement of such attendees encouraged as appropriate. The process will follow the School Board charge and involve consensus building to inform administrative options that are scheduled for presentation/discussion on Nov. 14, with board action planned for December. Implementation of proposed start times will be for the 2017-18 school year. 

     

    MEETING SCHEDULE

    The Task Force will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the following dates in the Edina Community Center, Room 349.
