  • Access Program

Mission: To catch our students and encourage, support, and help push them to an individual realistic path beyond high school.
    Access Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday - 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Access is a great place to get help with:
    • College search and application process
    • Registering for ACT or SAT exams
    • Writing essays and personal statements
    • Researching and writing scholarship applications
    • Financial Aid Forms
    • Career exploration
    • Writing resumes
    • Job applications and interviewing skills.
Students are welcome to stop by during their free time (study hall, passing time, collaborative time, lunch, before/after school) to get their questions answered.  Access is located in the Student Services Office by the Media Center.  No appointment is necessary.

Access works in collaboration with the counseling department.  While Access does not replace your relationship with your assigned counselor, it supplements it.  The counselors are a student's primary source of information and who they should meet with regularly; Access is  an additional resource to help students navigate the process of preparing for life after high school.

Access is staffed with a Coordinator and trained community volunteers that are able to provide personalized and specific help for students.
