First of all I am the one on the far right. I am one of seven children and I grew up in Madison, WI. After high school I decided it to attend the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. To my great surprise I stayed in Minnesota after completing my college education. I currently live in Richfield with my wife and two children.
I spent my first 3 years working for Minneapolis public schools and spent most of that time at Olson Middle School teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math. I then spent the next 6 years at Minneapolis Academy, a small charter school in south Minneapolis. Minneapolis Academy will always hold a meaningful spot in my heart as it was a very small environment and truly gave staff and students a sense of family and belonging. My last 4 years were spent at Robbinsdale Middle School, teaching 8th grade math.
I believe that no matter what you are capable of doing the goal should always be improvement.
