• PARENT EVENTS

    Parent get-togethers generally occur one or two times per season.  Get-togethers and dates are usually determined by the captains’ parents and again a sign-up sheet for hosting and other duties is provided at the first parent/player meeting.  Parent gatherings usually include parents of all teams within a certain sport.  Gatherings can be hosted by a JV or Varsity team but invitations are extended to parents of all teams.  Again, this helps the newer parents get connected to other parents that have been on the team longer and promotes good communication and relationship building.  One get-together scheduled near the beginning of the season can be very helpful to get this process started.
