Dec. 5, 2019 – Edina High School (EHS) has partnered with the Rotary Club of Edina for a new program that will encourage and inspire students to prepare for global careers.
Dec. 3, 2019 - Steven Cullison, a teacher at Edina High School, has been selected by the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) as the 2019 Economic Educator of the Year. This award was given to Cullison in recognition of his commitment to excellence in economic education for grades 9-12.
Nov. 21, 2019 – District administrators presented drafts of calendars for the next two academic years to the School Board on Nov. 18. The proposed calendars are the work of a Calendar Committee comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators who have been meeting since September. In addition, a parent and staff Calendar Survey was conducted in October, which provided important input to the creation of the draft calendars.
Nov. 8, 2019 - Edina High School is one of two Minnesota public high schools in the top 500 on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best STEM High Schools.
Nov. 7, 2019 - School buildings may close due to winter weather but learning will continue as the district implements e-Learning Days this year.
Nov. 6, 2019 - Cornelia Elementary School has received Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The award recognizes the building’s performance in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency. Half of the district's schools are now certified.
