The Edina Public Schools Communication Department coordinates a number of internal and external communication efforts for the district, including news releases, publications, website and information requests. The department also acts as a resource for district staff, offering assistance with writing, publication design, photography and on any other projects as necessary. Additionally, the department oversees various community engagement activities, including community forums, public information sessions, and districtwide community surveys.

We encourage photo submissions, and work to utilize them, depending on space and the quality of the photos. We do not give bylines, unless the photos are submitted by a student photographer.
Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and District Policy 113, members of the community may submit requests for public data by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receiving a data request the district will confirm receipt and provide a tentative timeline for fulfillment. Learn more about data requests.
