  • Welcome to Countryside

Countryside Elementary School is one of six elementary schools within the nationally recognized Edina Public Schools. Countryside provides a personalized learning experience for students K-5 with opportunities including a maker space, school garden, service projects, and student leadership. Recent building enhancements created flexible learning spaces where we offer students creative and innovative opportunities to learn, as well as grow personally in understanding themselves and how they learn best. We engage all students in the process of learning by having high expectations for all and providing support that helps students achieve their highest potential.

    Building Relationships

Countryside is one of two Edina schools offering the Continuous Progress (CP) program in addition to the traditional classroom model. In CP, students work in multi-grade cohorts that stay together through their elementary years, building important relationships that support their academic success. Countryside Pride incorporates concepts from our Pride Values – respect, responsibility, caring, trustworthiness, fairness and citizenship – as well as our district’s ICCCAR value model – integrity, courage, commitment, compassion, appreciation of diversity, and responsibility.
