Community Education

Community Education for Concord Students

Edina Community Education Services works in partnership with Concord Elementary to offer extended day activities before and after school, on release days and all summer long for students in grades K-5. Edina Community Education makes the connection between school and after school, providing high quality programming that enhances the Edina Public Schools curriculum.

Out-of-School Time Options:

Concord KIDS Club (Grades K-3)
Located at Concord, KIDS Club provides a fun, stimulating learning environment for students before and after school and on release days.

WISE Guys (Grades 4-5)

Students in the 4th or 5th grade are eligible to participate in our well-known out-of-school time program, WISE Guys. WISE Guys extends our students' learning day through both structured and non-structured activities when school is closed (before school, after school, on non-school days and during the summer).

WISE GUYS Transition Updates

Due to construction bids coming in too high for the three elementary schools that were going to begin transitioning to their school sites for the 2016-17 school year, all 4th and 5th grade WISE Guys students will remain in the Edina Community Center for the 2016-17 school year. Nothing has changed for summer 2016 WISE Guys, and they will continue to remain at the ECC.

For more information on WISE Guys and updates to the program, please visit the WISE Guys Transition FAQ page.
