Creek Valley and Cornelia elementary schools have been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) for accomplishments in closing the achievement gap and promoting high academic growth for all students. They are recognized for scoring in the top 15 percent of Title 1 elementary schools in the state according to MDE’s Multiple Measurement Rating (MMR) report released last month. Read more
Creek Valley Elementary has received Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award recognizes the building’s performance in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency, averaging 35 percent less energy used and 35 percent less carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.
