  • Gadtke Pic Congratulations to Angela Gadtke - Edina’s TIES Exceptional Teacher for 2014!

Angela is a Kindergarten teacher at Countryside, who has transformed learning in her classroom into the digital age.  In her classroom, students can be found using iPads and a variety of interactive technologies to create, collaborate, share and publish.  Angela’s use of technology for digital learning with kindergarteners inspires others. Angela is a leader at Edina Schools and continually shares the passion she has with other teachers.  Angela’s use of technology is exemplary and she is much deserving of the Technology & Information Education Services (TIES) Exceptional Teacher recognition.

Our parent event on Saturday night was fabulous!  Fun was had by all, and the fundraising efforts were a great success.  Funds donated during the event will provide many wonderful resources for our Countryside students and school.  Thank you so much for those of you who participated/donated.  Your support of Countryside is so very much appreciated.  Also, thank you and congratulations to the Countryside Bash planning committee.  Well done!

  • Celebrating Our First Garden Harvestgarden

Countryside was able to host a tasting event serving all students samples of food grown in the garden.

The garden was completed and planted last spring and all summer long, KIDS Club kept everything in order with weeding, watering and picking. The plan is that all of our Countryside students and families will be a part of the day to day workings of the garden moving forward. Click here for photos.
