The science & learning fair - students are able to experiment on a topic of interest and showcase their work.
The all NEW ART GALLERY - students are able to submit a work of art using any medium of their choosing.
This combined event will be on Tuesday March, 22nd this year.
This service-learning project will culminate on Friday, February 5th with our students & community packing food.
We need adults to help on the day; please consider volunteering (hairnet included)!

The week of February 1-5, students can dress up for Spirit Week leading into Countryside Against Hunger. A suggested donation of $1 each day will help us reach our goal - bring less, bring more, but dress up!
Monday, Feb 1 - Put Hunger to Sleep - Wear PJs, relaxing clothes etc.
Tuesday, Feb 2 - Send Hunger to the Stars - Wear Star Wars clothes, sun/moon/stars/glow in the dark clothes etc.
Wednesday, Feb 3 - Boot Out Hunger - Wear Mix & Match Shoes
Thursday, Feb 4 - Black Out Hunger - Wear All Black
Friday, Feb 5 - Countryside Against Hunger - Wear your Pride Shirt
Parents, we are launching the Countryside Marathon on October 1. This year we are holding "Marathon Mondays" and we need your help! Please sign up to visit Countryside as a designated walker/runner during breaks/recess. We hope seeing their parents and friends' parents will provide extra motivation to our students! Congratulations to the students and staff of Countryside! In recognition of our tremendous gains in State testing progress, Countryside was named a 2015 Reward School for the 2014-15 school year. We received a letter of congratulations from MN Commissioner of Education, Dr. Brenda Cassellius. Check it out!
Breakfast is available every day to all interested Gr. 1-5 students in a “Grab and Go” format. Stop by the kiosk outside the office to “grab” breakfast and “go” to class. School breakfast is available every day for $1.65 per student using their food service account and FREE for those accessing free and reduced priced meal benefits. Breakfast is provided free of charge daily for all Kindergarten students in their classrooms. Fuel up and get a great start to the day of learning!
