Angela is a Kindergarten teacher at Countryside, who has transformed learning in her classroom into the digital age. In her classroom, students can be found using iPads and a variety of interactive technologies to create, collaborate, share and publish. Angela’s use of technology for digital learning with kindergarteners inspires others. Angela is a leader at Edina Schools and continually shares the passion she has with other teachers. Angela’s use of technology is exemplary and she is much deserving of the Technology & Information Education Services (TIES) Exceptional Teacher recognition.
We Day is the movement of our time, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative called We Act, which offers curricular resources, campaigns and materials to help turn the day’s inspiration into sustained activation.

The garden was completed and planted last spring and all summer long, KIDS Club kept everything in order with weeding, watering and picking. The plan is that all of our Countryside students and families will be a part of the day to day workings of the garden moving forward. Click here for photos.
