In celebration of National Nutrition Month, the Countryside Wellness Committee and Chartwells Food Service provider are partnering on a Student Recipe Contest! Your student could have their own recipe prepared by District Chef James for all the students of Countryside at lunch one day in March. Parents, we are launching the Countryside Marathon on October 1. This year we are holding "Marathon Mondays" and we need your help! Please sign up to visit Countryside as a designated walker/runner during breaks/recess. We hope seeing their parents and friends' parents will provide extra motivation to our students! Congratulations to the students and staff of Countryside! In recognition of our tremendous gains in State testing progress, Countryside was named a 2015 Reward School for the 2014-15 school year. We received a letter of congratulations from MN Commissioner of Education, Dr. Brenda Cassellius. Check it out!
Breakfast is available every day to all interested Gr. 1-5 students in a “Grab and Go” format. Stop by the kiosk outside the office to “grab” breakfast and “go” to class. School breakfast is available every day for $1.65 per student using their food service account and FREE for those accessing free and reduced priced meal benefits. Breakfast is provided free of charge daily for all Kindergarten students in their classrooms. Fuel up and get a great start to the day of learning!
