    In order to make our Carnival a success, we need help from parent volunteers!  There are many ways to help, including setting up and cleaning up, serving food, selling tickets, and helping to run the games.  We have just recently added a new sign-up link for Games volunteers.

  • Friday Morning Wellness Workout (MW²)

    Start your child’s morning off with their favorite morning wellness workout.

    MW² meets the needs of Countryside students by providing safe and structured play that releases the energy of the kids so they can experience classroom success once the bell rings. This 7 week pilot program is FREE to Countryside students.

    Countryside students, staff, families and community volunteers spent the day packing food with Impact Lives.  It was such a wonderful day and we are so proud of our Countryside Community for being a part of this important work.

  • Gadtke Pic Congratulations to Angela Gadtke - Edina’s TIES Exceptional Teacher for 2014!

    Angela is a Kindergarten teacher at Countryside, who has transformed learning in her classroom into the digital age.  In her classroom, students can be found using iPads and a variety of interactive technologies to create, collaborate, share and publish.  Angela’s use of technology for digital learning with kindergarteners inspires others. Angela is a leader at Edina Schools and continually shares the passion she has with other teachers.  Angela’s use of technology is exemplary and she is much deserving of the Technology & Information Education Services (TIES) Exceptional Teacher recognition.     It is never too late to enroll your child for the 2014-15 school year.  Whether you are new to Edina or to the school district, we accept ISD 273 resident enrollments on an ongoing basis. Please contact the student registration office to get started.

    REFERENDUM SPOTLIGHT

    On Tuesday, May 5, 2015, residents of Edina Public Schools will have the opportunity to vote on a one-question bond referendum of $124.9 million in bond funding, payable over 21 years, for the purposes of updating learning spaces and enhancing building security at the district’s 10 schools, while also improving district infrastructure.
