    • Current Volunteer Opportunities

      Share your time and talents with our students and staff! We always have a wide variety of opportunites and there's a spot waiting for you.
       
      A sampling of our current options:
      • Academic and Mentorship Support.  Make a special connect with our students!  One on one and/or small group positions available with many location, date and time options to choose from. 
      • Media Center Support.  Help students find books, support them through the checking in/out process and assist the Media Center staff with keeping the space organized and ready for our learners!

    Wind Power!

    Volunteers Lauren Blank and Rachel Breaux from Avant Energy shared their energy education presentation with Cornelia Elementary 2nd grade students. Building on curriculum kids are studying in class, our speakers highlighted wind power and how wind farms use turbines to collect renewable energy and help power our communities.
